Never heard/saw that one..Was it a pair of the OHC 6's? I was an American
Iron guy in the 60's, raced 50's Oldsmobiles at the Drags, even persuaded my
wife
to buy a new '67 Pontiac Firebird, which we still have. Engine options that
1st year were whatever Pontiac had, including the Chevy 6, Pontiac new OHC 6,
Pont 326 w/2Bbl or 4Bbl , or the Pont 400. I liked the OHC 6, thought it'd be
good for altered classes due to the engine setback rule advantage for inline
engines and the breathing potential for the OHC... I acquired a '40 Austin and
then got drafted in '65..sigh....Couldn't find a home for the Austin and it
got junked while I was out of the country....Way back when...
Bob, miss that Austin, W
