There have been several comments and questions about the attachment points...

Stroud says the line of pull should be straight from the chute to the ceter of
the vertical CG (about the cam shaft on a V8 engine) with my race tires on my
rear lower attachement point is 13.5" just below the centerline of the rear
axel; or about the top of the starter on the eng.. the upper chute is 2" higher
or about the cam shaft---

The lower chute is my STROUD high speed ring slot or ribbon chute which is
about 5.5' in diam---on 60' of riser lines

If it doesn't "kite" it should be almost straight back when deployed

The Low Speeed is a Simpson 8' cross form with a reefing ring with a 15'
extension. It should deploy about 45' behind the car.

 I hope this helps
