Jack's cars don't go through the air, they go under the air.

Seriously, his cars are so close to the track that there may be
some strange things happening between the track's boundary
layer and the boundary layer attached to the bottom of the car..??
Aerodynamics is so simple that people spend millions of $$
building wind tunnels and using them. Sometimes CFD only
tells researchers what to look for.
