In my Sisyphus like quest to clean out all this junk, I found an old AutoCar
magazine that has a
good article on the resurrection of Babs.
In case that doesn't ring any bells, Babs was the early land speed record car
that was literally
buried, then resurrected. Dig the chain drive, 27,031cc engine, and the hand
pump for the fuel.
All the scans are around 200kb to 300kb, so a little big. And as always, that
picture resizing
feature in IE will screw up the pictures.
