Hi Chris Down Under ...... Copper wire used to be the hot set-up,
especially for supercharged / turbo'd engines back a few years ago ......
but possibly something new & higher - tech has replaced this in recent
years, what with all the new trick materials and engineering in today's
engine building world . I know it worked very well on my buddy's
6-71 blown hemi Chrysler in his AA / Altered roadster ( Otie Smith's
old real steel 'T', class A / Roadster out of Akron, Ohio . We never
experienced any problems in that area, but, of course that was 60s
technology that doesn't always " cut it " in the big bucks racing venues
of today. Just my two cents worth, and almost old enough to be Indian
pennies, at that !

PS : when my pal went to Ohio to buy that roadster in 1960, it came
with, and home on, a very rugged well built trailer .....
seems it was built by some guy in Akron by the name of Art Arfons !!!
