Just wanted to let you all know that Verlin Marshall was laid to rest today in Lancaster. My dad said the graveside service and following gathering at Verlin and Carol's home/shop (home of the #737 Crosley coupe that is a Dry Lakes Hall of Fame member) were great celebrations of a life well lived. He was a great racer and friend to many who will greatly miss him. :-( Katie Young Cortez |
