I agree completely. The guys who built rear-engine modified roadsters
when there was no class for them seem to be hoping that if they show up with 3
or
more cars SCTA will eventually relent and create a new class.
As the owner of a conventional front-engine modified roadster I must
admit to being biased, but I feel that the rear-engine modified roadster has
some
inherent aerodynamic advantages, such as fairing the roll cage and chute pack,
that are the main challenge in making a front-engine modified roadster
