The latest trick for car rental companies to shaft you is they are tracking
vehicles with a hidden GPS. Many have unlimited milage but in small print if
you go out of state they can and do charge extra. A recent case in Calif was a
car was rented in San Francisco, went to Reno or Vegas. Cost the driver
$1700.00. The normal rental was under $200.00. He failed to read the small
print on out of state use. I know a lot of people rent cars in Utah to go to
Wendover. Just remember the border crosses through the middle of town. He paid
$1.00 for each mile. This was thru Payless car rental.
