Dad;
Assuming you are referring to a car rather than a bike; it is advantageous
to have a slightly "nose-down" attitude to minimize lift. This depends on
body shape, though.
"Ride height" is the chassis ground clearance-- I assume this is what you
meant rather than "deck clearance". I suppose it depends on the class you're
running in and the type of car you have. A flat-bottom chassis with only a
couple of inches of ground clearance can provide downforce without much of a
drag penalty. Of course, classes like roadsters, etc, don't have that
option.

Subject: deck clearance"how low can you go?"
i would like to hear some thoughts on deck clearance. i.e : how low do you
go, running on the lakes? 2nd question is .....would you set it up dead
level or would you nose down the chassis set-up? and if so in a perfect
world to give optimum results.thank you , dad land
