Push Truck Engine

 Hey Guys I need some advice 

I have a 82 Blazer 4x4 that I want to turn into a push truck 
The truck has a 6.2 diesel I am looking at swapping it with 
possibly a 454 HO crate engine 425 hp 500 ft lb torque

Anyone have any better idea ??.... have an engine that would work ???
I would like too hear your opinions... Good or bad
