Thanks for your support. I have a tendency to "trust" that the builders
have done it properly or I wouldn't have been one of the many who missed a
certain very fast cars roll bar dimension.
With a quick and slow walk around a car I get a certain feel about it and
then work from there. One of the things that bother me about inspecting is
when a fellow inspector/competitor will come up after I've finished and
asked why I missed something that they felt was wrong. The time to do it is
when I looking at it not after.(or maybe I am the big a__h__e everyone says
I am, on a certain Friday in August after 5 days in the sun and 6 hours of
inspecting I'm a little short on toleration).
I'm afraid if Dan ever lets me really start on the body certification during
impounds 50% or more would be thrown out. Most things are very minor but
rules are rules. Good thing he won't let me go too wild in there and for
some reason the roadster guys keep asking my opinion(couldn'd be the il----l
roadster I own? could it? Thanks again Dave
