Jim,
A Diesel powered Lakester would compete in the Gas class. If it burns
event diesel using the Diesel Cycle, it's an approved diesel engine.
Except for Vintage classes, a diesel runs in gas class if there's no
diesel class.
Remember, you can't Polyawfulbadstuff or nuclear fusion.
