Thanks for the info. It really sounds like a good product. I thought it
wasn't approved yet because I didn't see anything about SFI ratings except
"pending" on the Carbon-X website.

The Carbon-X is approved. We purchased a Design 500 suit a couple of
years ago. It is SFI 3.2A-20 rated. The same as the funny car drivers
wear. At that time I had to purchase gloves and boots from Deist because
they didn't make those in the SFI 3.2A-20.
The suit is much lighter and more comfortable than the previous Deist
SFI 3.2A-15 suit I had before. I would recommend this suit highly. I
purchased mine from Competition Systems, Inc. in Seattle WA. Their phone
