We also just returned from a great vacation taking in several states.
Visited
Brice, Zion, Ceder Breaks national parks. On to Salt Lake City where we were
treated to a wonderful day By Chris and Ed Shearer. They took us to the Salt
Flat garage, Terry Nishs shop, their mountain cabin, a nudest colony, and to
dinner that night with Terry Nish & Dave & Carol Kohler,oh we also went to
Ardell Browns private museum.
We headed north to the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Cody, Devils Tower and Mt.
Rushmore. Great places to visit the beauty of this country is just awesome
and
sure makes it worth protecting. Also went to wall So. Dakota and on to
Nebraska to take in the Bill Smith Speedway Motors Museum and Speed Shop.
This
is a must see for anyone going through Lincoln. Went to the Pioneer Village
on
the way and another great place to enjoy the history of the country. Lots of
cars, airplanes tractors etc.
The new Chevy Duramax Diesel pulled the 32 ft. fifth wheel with no problem
and
always plenty of power. Other then three days of strong head winds that
effected the fuel milage I was very happy over all. Wish we could have spent
a
couple of more weeks, guess we will start planning for the next trip. About
4800 miles including the side trips.
