My daughter's Corvette (first car) was pink. I remember I used to have to
charge the battery in that thing three and four times a day. She covered a lot
of miles in that car, and not until her first inujury accident (she hit the
corner of the coffe table and a picture frame fell off and hit her in the head)
did I make her move it out of the house. That, of course, was how she got her
start in racing. Once out in the yard, she could race with our puppy, and when
it was lawn-mowing day, she'd always line up on the sidewalk and race the mower
every time it came by. If her battery was fresh, she'd blow that lawnmower
away! Ahhh, how Monica loved that white-tired, little, pink, Barbie Corvette.
