Some of you here may remember I e-mailed you all about a cam bearing
problem I was having, one of the bearings seized to the cam,well, yesterday
I found out why. Seems the dumbass shop that installed the bearings put the
#4 bearing in the #3 spot.On Mopar big blocks the bearings are tapered in
size, biggest diameter at the front, smallest at the back. Just goes to show
ya if you want something done right..... I made my own tool to install a
new bearing in the engine while in the car yesterday, did it inbetween rain
delays of the 500. Yes I think the racing gods may now be appeased. April 26
is getting closer!!!! Scott
