Did it at one time have frame rails made from the (honeycomb aluminum) wing

Russ,
No, the car still had the original frame when I got it. It had been
boxed at one time but the boxing was cut out, I had heard, to lighten
the car in prep for drag racing at a latter date. The car was
unbelievably original when I got it and except for safety was when I let
it go.
