I tow with a 1999 Dodge Ram/Cummins, this truck has the 4 speed auto with 3.54 gears. I use an 20 ft open trailer and the truck has a cab high shell. Average mpg to the salt is 17-18 mpg (at 70 mph), my old 454 gas got about 7-8 mpg.at 55-60mph.
