Not wanting to take to much life out of a new engine combination that
included a EFI system made up of various components we only revved it to
7.500 to establish an acceptable fuel map for a baseline for when we got
over to Bonneville. With such a high torque peak at 6.900 the hp was still
climbing at 7 1/2.
