Glenn I bolted Ladder bars on top of my leaf's and 1/4" steel plates all
along the bottom of them.... it was a junk set up but there was Zero wrap
up....
The pinion angle was a bitch kitty to set.... but I did it poorly enough to
loose a drive shaft at 170 mph or so at Maxton.... not that it's a problem
if you don't mind pole vaulting over the drive shaft or the shifter smacking
your leg when the trans snaps in half....
Keith ( a BIG fan of ladder or four links from now on with infinitely
adjustable pinion angles... )

wrap up. A pinion snubber also works well. I ran factory super stock leaf
springs and a pinion snubber on a VERY torquey Mopar 440. It hooked very
well.

right now. The little truck (S10) we are building has leaf springs. I am
just not comfortable with wrap up, wheel hop and uncontrolled pinion angle
that I associeate whith high torque applied through leaf springs. I am
considering using the leaves with a connection to the axle housing that
allows the housing to rotate with a ladder bar to control the pinion angle
and aid in some weight transfer. I think it is called a floater set up.
