Can somebody describe how the FIA Flying Mile is run? How about the old
NASCAR/AAA Flying Mile that was run at Daytona in the fifties? Was it like
Maxton, standing start and get timed at the last few feet of the mile after you
were "flying", or was there a longer run-up and then the average for a mile is
timed?
