Skip; No, I don't but I read that the earlier GT-40s had problems. I think Ken Miles was killed in a GT-40 at Le Mans and it was speculated that the crash was due to its high- speed aerodynamic problems. The original GT-40 body style evolved quite a bit over the years-- GT-40, Mark II, Mirage, etc. If I see John Horsman tomorrow at lunch, I'll ask him. He was involved with John Weyer and the Gulf/Mirage team that won Le Mans in 1975. Regards, Neil Tucson, AZ |
