KEN
I DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS NEW CATEGORY, ACTUALLY NOT EVEN A FAN
OF THIS CATEGORY WITH IT'S CURRENT GUIDELINES, BUT MY OBSERVATIONS ARE AS
FOLLOWS:
> Let me preface this by saying I don't have a car that relates to this
> category. I have friends that do, and these were a few questions that came
to
> mind as we looked at it:

car

moved
> to "Classic"?
THE CLASSIC CLASS CRITERIA WAS USED. BODY, ENGINE AND ALL PERTINENT
EQUIPMENT. DON'T KNOW IT THE OWNERS WERE ASKED, BUT THEIR CARS NO LONGER FIT
THE OLD CLASS.

if

QUITE A BIT OF TIME AND EFFORT WAS EXPENDED TO MAKE SURE ALL THE CARS
WERE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE NEW RULES.
>
> 3. Since the vintage engines aren't allowed in this class, do the cars
that
> had XO and XF engines from the factory run in the cubic inch AA-E classes?
DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS QUESTION AS THE XO AND XF CARS JUST STAY WHERE
THEY WERE.
>
> Enquiring minds want to know.
I HAVEN'T SEEN, OR HEARD OF, ANY CAR SO FAR THAT WAS INCORRECTLY
RECLASSIFIED. IF THERE WAS A MISTAKE MADE PROBABLY THE SCTA SHOULD BE
CONTACTED.
