Geez seems like we made a whole day without picking on Keith.... Life really
is good....
Spent the afternoon protecting the new sheet metal we did over at Uncle
Brads place.... started with a metal conditioner... went to metal etching
primer and another primer to try and seal the tin work and now I'm up to
Paint.... the bottom is getting rustolem with a brush and the guts are
getting the same treatment. long and drawn out process but I'm thinking the
rust protection will really help keep the rust worm to a minimum...
Got the new seat belts in and started looking at what it was going to take
to make all that happen.... Once again Joe Timney just did a great job of
installing the attaching points.... this is all going to work out just
swell...
I did have some issues finding a Seat belt with the velcro'ed cover that the
SCTA requires and ended up with a simpson cam lock... I'm not as proud of
these belts as I am the standard latching style... but I'm sure that is
really just my personal preference based on the flying career...
Bout what is up in my life.... going to stick a motor and trans in this
weekend and make that happen..... it's coming along just fine.... Perfect
timing.... but I still see some Very long days in my future...
Keith ( Hey Dan.. thanks for the time today... appreciate it )
