Yes. The loads are different. I have a BMW with a sidecar. There are
special tires made for sidecar use, although a lot of guys use regular bike
tires. Handling is much better with tires designed for the task. But, even a
BMW with a sidecar won't put the loads that, say a Camaro would, on the tires.
