Its' Okay Dick, you won't be the last guy with a carb and a real
distributor! I'm still running pretty much stock stuff, although I have
swapped all my cars to electronic ignition from later model cars. My dual
Mallory coils look just like the stock cans, and I'm even still running a
single V-belt to drive all the accessories! I'd probably just as much fun
at 90 MPH in a 50 Willy's Aero Lark with a 225 as I've had with the USS
Wankel. If I ever got the feeling that I had to throw money at my cars to
have fun I'd probably just stay home.
Build it safe, drive it fast, but most of all...have FUN!!

Subject: Ignition
> Is anybody out there using a plain old distributor and coil ignition, or
has everybody except me gone to Multiple Spark Discharge, HEI or other
cosmic 21st century stuff like flywheel triggered, etc.? I did cop out and
got a Mallroy unilite distributor (no points), and a coil that doesn't look
like a beer can, but thus far, that's as hi-tech as I've been able to bring
myself.
