Neil,

Put it this way, they say Dexcool (red) you can feed to your pet (wont 
harm) But I have not tested this theory on my dog but hey maybe the 
neiborghs, ethylene glycol (green) you cant. But the green is better for 
your vehicle as far as Im concerned.
