Welcome aboard, Gary. As the year progresses,
you will get a lot of laughs out of this group,
but more, you will get hooked more and more on
Land Speed Racing. Many of the guys here are
beginners, but many are really old pros. After a
while you will start to realize that some of them
approach legend status - - -well, not quite, but
some of them have driven a thousand runs down the
black line at speeds others have never dreamed
of. One thing for sure, once you try it for the
first time, you will know that life begins at
1321! Winding it up to the red line is cool, but
holding it, and holding it, and holding it, and
hol d.... Well, it's something you'll just have
to experience.
