Absolutely NOT what I said. The original thoughts were from Dick and he =
mentioned putting a DeSoto hemi into my little car. Told him I was a =
ford man, but fond of hemis. Then he made some comparisons between hemi =
and schevy, fords and others. Some else chimed in and mentioned that =
really big hp numbers could be found in the drag car classes from hemis. =
I said fine but they prolly weren't DeSotos, or even Chrysler's but =
after market motors. I thought we were comparing old hemis to old =
chevys, fords and the like. I missed the train somewhere when we jumped =
to the latest and greatest drag technology. I love the old hemis, once =
even put one in a Kaiser of all things.=20
But the hemis now in use in drag racing, unless nostalgia class, never =
ever saw the inside of a Chrysler factory...not one single part. And =
that's what I thought we were talking about.=20
Oh, and did some one slam me? Must be to dumb because I missed it? If =
so, take a chill pill and get over it. Not worth it to you to not like =
me. Don't care...
mayf off to beat my body now at the gym...might need it this summer in =
the pits :^}

Dr. Mayfield, are you saying that the Top Fuel and Funny Car classes =
are not running Hemi's? I need a definition for the same reason you do. =
To increase my knowledge of things that I mistakenly thought I knew =
something about.
