Jack & list,

The restriction is for the new Fuel Modified Sports classes only.

I believe the board's thinking on this is similar to when the truck classes
were added. The same restriction was placed on the new classes in order to
curb anyone from "cherry picking" the championship. You will notice the
restriction specifies the competetion year of 2002 only. There are some
existing records which were brought over from the old classes which bumped
you up for using NOS.

Of course the SCTA-BNI minimums apply only to El Mirage. All uncontested
classes(no record exists) are open at Bonneville.
