Is there a list of how the Bonneville records will shake out this year as
the
new Classic category is instituted? Both the Modified and Classic records

There is a listing of records. I am unsure as to release it or not. I am
afraid that the flames of insurrection will rise even higher. If I do
release the list there is no changing allowed unless you can convince me
with accurate paperwork that I missed a record that should be listed.
Also, Bonneville 200 MPH club minimums are NOT a part of the SCTA-BNI
listings. The SCTA-BNI do not nor will have any influence over entry
requirements to that august group. Their booklet will be available at
Speedweek with revised classes and minimums for the 2002 season. I think we
can all thank the 200 MPH club board for their foresite to include the new
Classic Category and Fuel Modified Sports classes. It is their option to
either accept or reject any classes the SCTA-BNI may establish.
