Yea, and I used to be able to read the brand name on a cigarette butt in the
road. Now it just looks like a plain butt with no name- maybe Laser eye
surgery will improve soon and be able to help out. Glasses and helmets are a
bit_h.

Bill;
Your story reminds me of something I read about Don Garlits back when he had
just run his new rear- engine top fuel car and he was really pleased with
the improved visibility he had over the old FED setup. Another driver asked
Garlits "did you see that ol' 3/8' bolt lying there at the end of the strip
in the "lights"?" "Yeah" said Garlits, "...fine thread."

John, I guess that's what they mean by "seat time". I remember reading
in Hot Rod about 45 years ago an interview with Art Chrisman, then one
of the Big Dogs; the interviewer said, "Art, what's it like running that
nitro Chrysler down the strip?" Art said, "I sit there and I wonder why
it's taking so long to get down to the end."
Cheers Bill
