Dave: Do you really want the ratios from my bike tranny?
2000 Kawasaki ZX12R
Factory setting: Primary reduction ratio: 1.596
No changes made here. . .
Factory setting: Final sprocket reduction ratio: 18/46
As raced: " " " 17/38-39-40-41 (I kept
trying!)
Transmission is unchanged from factory numbers: 1st: 2.429
2nd:
1.824
3rd:
1.440
4th:
1.250
5th:
1.130
6th:
1.033
Redline/rev limiter is around 12 grand rpm. Yeah, things are grand up
there -- it's really exciting to arrive in the next gear around 9,000! The
motor's really perky up there. . . Wanna see the dyno chart???

Subject: transmissions
I am working on a little project that needs some more information. I am
looking
for the gear splits. The ratios in each gear. If anyone has this info about
a
transmission please post it to me either on the list of direct. It would be
a
big help. If you are not sure about them let me know if they are measured or
estimated.. Oh and if you know what it came out of even better!
an example might look like but this info is pure fiction for an example..
Muncie wide ratio 72 chevelle 350
1st 3.08
2'd 2.0
3'd 1.35
4'th 1.00
thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
