Ummm, I'm not sure, not having run at Maxton, but most concrete surfaces
I've seen raced on are not "smooth"....pretty bumpy from what I've
seen.....perhaps the comparison of the surface of the Salt to the concrete
race surface is closer than one thinks? I would guess that a 20 foot
straight edge may show about the same amount of "ripples" between the two.
