Since you brought up the subject of the Casinos/accomodations in Wendover,
I had a kinda lousy experience at the Days Inn during Speedweek. Ended up
having to pay for 5 nights in advance when I got there because of the
reservation I'd made. When I needed to check out after only a couple of
nights they wouldn't give me any kind of refund, even though they had a no
vacancy sign in the window. Sure seemed like highway robbery to me.
I know I won't be going back to the Days Inn again, and I'd really
appreciate some advice on a good place to stay. And I'm starting to see why
the bend in the road is so popular.
