At the monthly meeting of the U.S.F.R.A.last nite, a couple of folks that
had been out to look at the salt gave similar reports, both said that the
salt was free of standing water, and already dry enough to race on. Rick
Vesco spent a good part of Memorial day weekend out there and he reports
exceptionally smooth dry conditions for this time of year. Weather today
is 90+. We could be in for a year of excellent race conditions if the
weather continues to cooperate.
