Dick,
I use what can only be considered a ton of nitrous in my drag car.My plate
is adjustable up to 250 and the fogger system up to 500( I never put the
second stage that high). It is currently set at 275.
To start go with a factory set up until you get used to how it reacts. Many
people think that running super rich is a safety but I have found that there
is such a thing as too rich with nitrous. They like to go BANG with too much
fuel too. There are a lot of pro mod ,top sportsman guys in the area and I
have talked with a bunch and many agree.
By the way, Tommy Gray ( Undertaker Pro mod 53 corvette) currently is
running FOUR STAGES . Yikes.

Dick, the nitrous setup I have is a NOS Cheater system which is rated
from150 to 250 horsepower. If you look at the ratio of nitrous to fuel which
is about 85% I believe , you can get individual jets to reduce the output
below the bottom figure and this is what I do to drag race my car. I only
use 125hp at the strip. I don't know what is done on the fogger systems but
the setup must be similar I imagine.
