Hi Chris,
I have no personal experience with blowers, but there are plenty here who
do. That sounds like a pretty high static compression ratio to me. One
other thing is, are you straddle mounting the belt drive pulley (bearings on
both sides of the belt)? The original generator drive was not really
designed for side loads like your belt drive will impose.

i hope to adjust the rpm's of the blower with the engine rpms with
the pulleys. temp #'s suggest 1:1.33 @ 6,000rpm with max boost at 10 psi.on
top
of 10.5 or 9:1 compression but i can drop the boost the same way if needed.i
