Bruce, I was saddened to learn of George Connors passing. I got to meet hin 
in 1974 or 75 when I was in California on vacation. I had him sign my copy of 
the Jack Fox book " The Indianapolis 500". He was a very nice guy, who drove 
the Blue Crown cars after WWII. Bob in Connecticut
