Our helmets tend to fog up at times, even with a vent by the chin area. To clear up and prevent fog, Ed drills two holes at the lower ends of the plastic face shield, on either side of my cheeks. This last weekend riding in the cold snowy weather, my shield did not fog up at all. We have always done this and it sure helps even thought the shields are suppose to be anti-fog shields.
