Group,
I really like Keiths suggestion. Why not let those interested in
"organising" take the discussion to a "organising list" and let those of us
that are primarily interested in pursuing our "hands-on" , "busted-knuckle"
love of LSR get on with the technical exchanges that used to dominate the
postings on this list.
When the organisers get the various organisations that presently organise
our widely varied LSR venues and formats all compiled into one list, complete
with disclaimers for the "easy" venues, "atta-boys" for those that set
records under tougher standards (like the guys that earned membership into
the 200MPH Club before the SBC and modern day technology came along), and
asterisks for those who set substandard records during the period of depleted
salt and 300 Speed Week entrys every year, hopefully I'll be dead and
buried..........Ardun Doug King
