Anyone interesting in seeing Kerry McLean's Monocycle? Kerry just
called and gave me the date he will be featured on Ripley's Believe It
or Not. Program will air Wed Jan 31st on TBS. Kerry has 8 p.m. (EST)
so look in your local TV guide.
He raced at USFRA's World of Speed Sep 2000 and ran @53.514 mph.
Terry is currently building a new and bigger monocycle. The new one
will be 6 feet high, all aluminum frame and engine, powered by an
Oldsmobile V8, two 4 barrels. The engine weights @ 300lbs. Total
weight estimated to be @ 500 lbs. This will be street legal as with the
current monocycle.
In addition to this program, there is a new program coming out in
March called "Weird Wheels". This is a series reinventing the wheel.
Will be aired on "Life" channel. Kerry & his monocycle will be the
first program's feature for the series. Just thought you might want to
