Henry, the rough outlines are that the AMA handled the motorcycle side of Bonneville for about the first 25 to 30 years, then the AMA somehow lost interest and faded out, when SCTA took it back over, which continues to today. Perhaps somebody on this List knows the more exact details. Bill |
