Ya When I got my TD running in l965 with a 283 and fancied myself more
as a sports car person than a rodder I tried to join the national MG club.
They wouldn't have me. Drove that car for 7 years eventually with an
injected 327, 4spd Muncie and 9 " Ford rear end( 57 Ford with two short side
axels. Great fun, handled great, autocrossed it, drag raced it, died of heat
in it in the summer and froze in it in the winter. I saw one in Knoxville
Ia. with a 426 hemi with the push button automatic. He would rev it to
6000RPM at the line and push the Low button, awsume. Well back to today,
tonight 2001 man how did I ever get so old. Kvach
