Bill,
You see the magnetic plugs in just about everything now. Oil pan drain
plugs, axel plugs, transfer cases and if you pull a newer tranny pan they
have a huge magnet there that collects all kinds of little particles that
makes a neat little statue. I would wounder if a VERY powerfull magnet in
oil pan would interfere with the crank sensor being magnetic also?
