Keith,
I really feel sorry for you! You see I had that attitude for years,
makes you walk around with a little black cloud over your head, then one
day I realized that God had blessed me with the opportunity to compete
at these events. Many don't have that opportunity!!! Records are a
bonus, just breathing the air at these events is a true blessing.
Don't take this wrong, it is partly "tongue in cheek", but it is also my
new philosophy. I love chasing records and breaking them, but when you
get them they are just borrowed, some one will come along and take them
away. It would be great I guess to be the best in the world, but I will
settle for being the best I can be.
Having said all that, I just fired my engine Monday after making some
changes, it sounds to me like 200 MPH at November El Mirage Meet. You
see, Jeff still has that club to enter for his three 200 Clubs and I
WANT that record back.
