We had the Autorama in the Salt Palace this last weekend. The USFRA entries
were three Bonneville streamliners and a '32 highboy roadster, 150 Club
Shelby 350 GT Mustang, a 130 Club full fendered T roadster and a Cobra
replicar that will be running the 150 Club this year. Six first places and
a second for the entries. Everyone spent time in the booth showing
Bonneville videos and answering questions. Lots of good interest. Now
Vesco will have to get busy and put an engine in the 444 'liner since the
only streamliner that had an engine was Calvin Vesco's Jr Racer.
Lots of people wanted to know if there was more salt than the last time they
were out there. We were happy to tell them yes.
