Ed Van Scoy's Corvette

Stopping at the newsstand on the way home I picked up a copy of
Cars&Parts Corvette Race Car Special edition. They have a nice 5 page
article on Ed's 85 Corvette that put him in the 200 MPH Club. In the
specifications box at the end of the article Ed claims .66 MPG.
Hmmmm...... the short course is 5 miles, that's 8.3 gallons per run. A
very thirsty motor.
