I respect the technology required to get an airplane to break the sound barrier without leaving the ground, but to me the piston-driven, wheel-driven LSR-type racing is where-it's-at. I wouldn't have the slightest interest in witnessing what they accomplished at Black Rock. Hell, going to the Dry Lakes or Bonneville without a car to wrench on is a drag.
