Great news...on the WOS course for September 22 - 25.
Just talked to Rick Vesco who had dragged the course on Thursday the 9th.
We have almost eight miles of good, hard salt but will use up the first
half mile by moving north to get away from the area that broke up at
speedweek.
The course will use the two left lanes they surveyed for speedweek.The new
drag has left it in great shape. The pits will be near the start as usual
for WOS and that will get away from the problems on the rutted and potholed
access road by the weather station. Looking good for entries too...I have
almost sixty and there have been many calls from people who will be signing
up when they get here...three calls today.
Tom Bryant will possibly have withdrawal symptoms without Keith Turk to give
him a bad time. Perhaps the list can provide a substitute.
